Creating content for Social Media has gotten A LOT easier over the last few years with the help of technology. Today I'm sharing 5 Tools that help me create stand out video content for my channels. Let's dive in!

1. InShot - perfect for making video edits from your phone and resizing them for your various Social Media channels. I probably use this more than any other app for editing video.

2. CapCut - similar to Inshot but offers more bells and whistles for free (such as drawing, automating captions, etc.)

3. Descript - this app allows you to edit the video by editing the transcript. For instance, you can highlight a section of the auto generated captions and delete them. Descript will then automatically delete that section of the video. Transcription editing and video editing all in one! You can also automatically remove filler words (say bye bye to "ummmm"). Not currently available for mobile so you'll need to download it to a desktop.

4. Veed.io - Use the online editor to create things like audiograms and Gary Vee style progress bar videos. Also great for auto generating captions.

5. Captions - Have you seen those videos using lots of emojis and captions? This app for your phone allows you do it all from your fingertips. The downside is that it gives you a 3 day trial and then $8/mo after that. In its current state I'd only recommend this app if you're creating a ton of "talking head" content where you want auto generated captions + emojis. But the trial is worth playing around to see if you like it!

6. [BONUS] Screenflow - This is my "go-to" app for any tutorials that require a screen recording. You can even connect your phone to do screen recordings and have the ability to highlight actions, zoom in on parts of the screen, add lower thirds, and other fun animations. Not free, but if you're into trainings or tutorials (especially for Youtube) this will cut down on your editing time IMMENSELY. It's what I used for this video as well as my Youtube channel.
